POSITION FUNCTION
The PMO Project Manager is responsible for managing the project management, change management and successful implementation of assigned enterprise, integration and departmental projects. The Project Manager will work closely with Project Coordinators and all project stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leads project delivery in enterprise projects, integration projects and site & study implementation projects.
Develop and project manage multiple project workstreams and/or sub-workstreams.
Drive timely and successful completion of project deliverables, including tracking milestones and/or project financials.
Effectively manage and create positive relationships with stakeholders and business owners for projects, including holding senior leaders accountable for scope, timeline, and deliverables.
Responsible for accurate and timely project documentation, including presenting project progress reports to all levels of the organization. Focus heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on key decisions and statuses.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance the business needs versus technical/other constraints.
Ability to align all work efforts with organization’s overall mission, values, and OKR goal setting framework.
Create original work product as necessary to support deliverables; e.g., writing policies and procedures, creating work-flow documents, researching regulatory matters.
Occasionally provides training content for internal PM training (eg through PMC)
Assist in defining business process improvement efforts, as needed.
Actively pursues opportunities to refine and improve PMO processes, including coordinating improvement initiatives.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
College/University degree or equivalent
Must have at least 2-3 years of Project Management experience
Preferred:
At least 2 years of clinical research industry experience
Project Management certification (eg PMP) is highly desirable
