Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Peer Specialist to join our team. As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will provide peer support services to individuals with mental health challenges, offering guidance and assistance based on your own lived experiences.

Duties:

- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage with clients
- Provide support and guidance in navigating systems and resources
- Offer addiction counseling and behavioral health support
- Assist in crisis intervention and management
- Conduct mental health counseling sessions
- Mentor individuals in developing coping strategies

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Peer Specialist
- Proficiency in motivational interviewing
- Experience in addiction counseling and behavioral health
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and crisis management techniques
- Background in mental health counseling or social work
- Strong mentoring skills
