Warranty Administrators prepare records and submit warranty claims to the manufacturer and/or distributor. They verify the warranty criteria required by the manufacturer or distributor and process warranty claims in a timely manner for each vendor or distributor. Warranty Administrators process all warranty paperwork to ensure that they have all necessary documentation. They will also reconcile all warranty claims. Warranty Administrators will also monitor and process warranty credits and warranty stock credits.

Other Roles & Functions: Warranty Administrators will arrange the return and/or replacement of warranty items. They will also continually follow up on the status of the returns or replacements, keeping an accurate accounting of transactions to include replacements and receipt of credit.

• Proficient with the use of office equipment (i.e. computer, phone, printer, copier & scanner).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
• Ability to quickly learn company computer software and navigate vendor websites.

Preferred:

• Understanding of HVAC-R industry, materials and products.
• Two or more years of industry experience.
• Comfortable answering the phone and making calls on behalf of the company.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
