Position Overview: As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products throughout the entire production process. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and processes to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional products.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data to identify and implement corrective actions to eliminate root causes.
• Support compliance to the Quality System with emphasis on corrective actions, non-conforming material, and reporting.
• Analyze quality records, then work with various departments on continuous improvement activities.
• Participate in problem-solving teams and apply statistical and other problem-solving tools.
• Apply problem-solving techniques and cross-functional activities to resolve significant problems.
• Develop root cause analysis procedures to resolve quality issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Track defects by developing and maintaining charts and reports for management review.
• Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements to drive continuous improvement activities.
• Assist in the development of audit plans, and audit schedules.
• Participate in quality audits (and lead a team of quality auditors, when needed)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in fast paced custom build manufacturing environment in a quality capacity preferred.
• Prior Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Track record of making improvement changes.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Standards, including implementation (e.g., ISO 9001-2015).
• ASQ Certified Quality Process Analyst (CQPA) or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Preferred
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) Preferred
