SHIFT AVAILABILITY: SATURDAY & SUNDAY 9AM-5PM

Responsibilities:

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication as needed
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility, whether around the house or for appointments and walks outside
• Collaborate with clients on meal planning and preparation, accommodating their preferences and dietary needs
• Accompany clients for shopping trips or conduct shopping on their behalf
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and laundry duties to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and uplifting atmosphere
• Report any unusual incidents promptly to your supervisor
• Act swiftly and responsibly in emergency situations

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as a caregiver, demonstrating a history of compassionate care
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid procedures, including CPR certification
• Familiarity with housekeeping activities and cooking, paying attention to dietary restrictions
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards at all times
• Respectful, compassionate, and empathetic demeanor towards clients
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering meaningful connections
• Ethical conduct and integrity in all interactions
• Physical endurance to meet the demands of the role
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Experience in assisting memory care clients preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
