TITLE: Full Time Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Paraprofessional- Valley View Elementary School

This position will work to primarily support one student.

QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying

• High School diploma required
• Successful completion of some college level coursework or passing score on the Comprehensive Assessment of Paraprofessional Educators (CAPE) preferred
• Prior experiance working with students
• Prior experiance working with students with disabilities

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten (10) month position (full-time 35/hrs per week) - Hourly pay, work schedule, and other conditions of employment in accordance with current District applicable policies and the York Suburban Educational Support Personnel Association Agreement.

COMPENSATION: Range starts at $13.80 per hour plus benefits

GOALS: To provide student assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in the school setting
