Under the direction and supervision of the Y learning Program Director, the Y Learning Site Lead will be responsible for the supervision and management of the site and staff, as well as assisting the child’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

*Part time up to 29 hours per week

*Monday-Friday 6:30am-8:30am/3:00pm-6:00pm weekly staff meetings and lesson planning

*Paid training will be required

*Experience necessary

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensure a safe and nurturing environment, attending to the needs of students at all times.

Welcome parents and students at all times with a smile and by name.

Site management. Be visible!

Planning and preparing of learning station environments, set-up and clean-up and preparing needed material and supplies

Attend all paid staff meetings.
