Under the direction and supervision of the Y learning Program Director, the Y Learning Site Lead and Assistant will be responsible for the general supervision and management of the site, as well as assisting the child’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive development. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading non-profit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

*Part time

*Site Assistant - Flexible schedule - Monday-Friday 6:30am-8:30am/3:00pm-6:00pm weekly staff meetings

*Site Lead - Set Schedule - Monday-Friday 6:30am-8:30am/3:00pm-6:00pm weekly staff meetings

*5 Hours of paid training will be required

*Site Assistant - No experience necessary

*All training is paid

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensure a safe and nurturing environment, attending to the needs of students at all times.

Welcome parents and students at all times with a smile and by name.

Assist in general overall site management. Be visible!

Assist in planning and preparing of learning station environments, set-up and clean-up and preparing needed material and supplies

Attend all paid staff meetings.
