Salary/Position Classification
* 15.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
* 8-10 hours per week
* 100% Remote
Purpose of Position
Help students to become better independent learners by assisting them in the understanding of course material and answering their questions.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Assisting students in the understanding of course material
* Identifying strengths and areas of improvement regarding the content of the coursework and study habits
* Answering student questions and guiding them through class assignments
* Conducting review sessions before exams - (Essential)
* Completion of CRLA-certified tutoring training Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and hours worked - (Essential)
* Other duties as assigned by the Tutor Coordinator - (Essential)

Minimum Requirements
* Must have taken Economics 201, 202, 210
* Proof of understanding of course material, evidenced by a minimum grade of B in the course (or equivalent coursework)
* A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
* Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
