Position Description:
The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing clinical therapy services to children and youth, and individuals who have experienced such victimizations as abuse/neglect and/or homelessness. The Mental Health
Clinician will engage clients in the therapeutic process to increase emotional stability, holistic wellness, and overall mental health functioning, aiming in the healing process, reducing vulnerability to future victimization(s), and reducing long term psychological effects. This position requires knowledge of trauma and its impact on child development, comprehensive understanding of cultural humility, upholding ethical and legal responsibility as it pertains to California Statutes.
