A Data & Insight Internship at WaterAid provides hands-on nonprofit experience and a strong understanding of our global mission. Not only will you be learning about international development from one of the world’s leading non-profits, you’ll work closely with our Data & Insights Officer to do your part to stop a killer that steals more lives than malaria and AIDs combined.

As Data & Insight Intern, you will learn how we:

• Manage thousands of critical donor records using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Salesforce. You will learn to complete data entry in line with organizational standards, merge duplicate records, carry-out donor screenings, update records, reconcile gift reports and export donation data from various platforms.
• Develop and design dashboards that present real-time data to support fundraising and marketing campaigns.
• Implement new processes and support colleagues to adopt new tools and platforms.
• Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues by working directly with Salesforce.

• Are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
• Want to improve your professional communication skills (oral and written)

What we expect from you:

• At least 15 hrs/week (days and hours flexible) and at least 1 day in-office

• A willingness to take initiative, an aptitude for learning, and a desire to grow
