Transportation is Hiring a Special needs assistant Near Rock Hill, SC
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma required
Interest in and ability to work with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
Physical ability to lift up to 130 lbs.
Ability to maintain discipline with all age groups
Effective communication skills with school staff and students
Ability to clean bus / equipment as needed
Ability to perform simple child hygiene as needed
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range : Support 2
Length of Contract : 200 days / 8 hours per day
Starting Date : Immediately upon selection
Prior to employment, the District will request a criminal record history check for past action of crimes. For this reason, information about date of birth, gender, and race is requested as a part of the application process.
