We help customers book reliable home services beauty treatments, massages, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning etc. Since its inception in November 2014, the company has expanded to 43 cities across 5 countries, served over 6 million customers, and partnered with 83 thousand trained and upskilled service professionals.

As of Oct 2021, the company is tracking to be on an annualized net GMV run-rate of ~ USD 305M, and an annualized revenue run-rate of USD 100M. The business is growing rapidly and revenues have scaled 2.5X since the beginning of the pandemic. The company is also looking to go public in 2022.

The US Opportunity - vision and aspiration:

The US home services market is a large opportunity with the relevant beauty and home maintenance segments totalling ~$200-250B. This large market has not seen a defining online platform (like Uber for ridesharing or Amazon for ecommerce) and current business models do not lead to favourable outcomes for both customers and partners.

We believe that our unique full-stack approach can be a game changer for the industry generating massive quality employment and customer delight at affordable prices. It creates for customers a standardized, convenient and affordable offering while simultaneously helping service professionals become more organized and multiplies their earnings 2-3X consistently.

Role Description - Regional General Manager, Beauty & Wellness:

The beauty services industry in the US is estimated to be ~USD 60B annually with hair services comprising ~65% of the market. The industry has low tech penetration with ~90% of bookings done via calls/text and even lower at-home service penetration at <1%.

We aspire to quickly become the market leader in the at-home beauty space in the USA and grow the business into a $1B category in the next 5 years with unlocks both on the customer side of convenience and superior quality and the supply side of higher, more secure and predictable partner earnings.

The RGM, Beauty & Wellness, will be in-charge of building the at-home beauty business from the ground up. This will involve drilling down initial MVP offerings, identifying and executing towards both customer and supply side product market fit, building a playbook for subsequent rapid geographical expansion and charting out the growth path for the next 5 years.

An ideal candidate will have at least 5-6 years of experience in tier 1 consulting, IB, business development /product experience at reputed start-ups etc.

This role will be based in Austin, Texas and will involve travelling to various metropolitan areas in the US as the category expands.
