Urban is seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager- Land Development - Site Design who has ~ 5 years of experience in the design and management of land development site plans for its Chantilly, VA office.

Job Functions:

• Complete complex civil engineering design and project management duties as it relates to all facets of civil engineering land development site design
• Must be able to manage civil engineering land development designs from the planning, zoning, and permitting stages through the completion of full sets of site/construction plans
• Must make well-informed design decisions based on their knowledge of civil engineering concepts and locality requirements
• Ensure the quality of all work completed through QA/QC reviews of all project work produced
• Present projects to clients, local jurisdictions/governments, and the public at formal and informal meetings/events
• Daily coordination with internal and external engineers, architects, clients etc.

Educational/Experience Requirements:

• Must have a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• P.E. certification is Preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements:

• Experience in land design and the preparing and processing of land development applications
• Strong stormwater knowledge and design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D and Microsoft Office is required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must
