Union County Savings Bank - Vice President of Deposit Operations

Who we are:
Union County Savings Bank is a community bank with four branches in Union County. The Bank was founded in 1883 to serve the local communities of Union County and remains strongly committed to these communities today. Currently the Bank is embarking upon a core system conversion. The Bank is also rolling out new products and services designed to meet the expanding needs of our customers while preserving our 139-year pledge of security, safety and service.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Vice President of Deposit Operations who will support the Bank's line of deposit products, services and electronic deposit services. The VP will also own and execute bank operations, retail, digital and deposit operations as well as manage the core banking systems. Specifically the VP will:

• Manage the deposit operations group and oversee the operational support of the bank's retail branches to ensure all deposit related activities follow bank policy and are executed efficiently and effectively.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and partner cross-functionally to contribute to organizational goals and priorities.
• Oversee the operational support of the bank's retail branches.
• Manage conversion of the bank's deposit products to a new core service provider.
• Work closely with IT, Finance, BSA and Compliance to implement new products and services.
• Partner with senior management to create, develop, and update Standard Operating Procedures for Operations ensuring that procedures are in compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements and are kept up to date with changes and/or new products and services.
• Ensure that all FDICIA back office controls are being followed by ensuring maintenance reports .
• Train Branch personnel on products and services.
• Manage the Operations audit request list and compile work at auditors' request.
• Maintain a high level of understanding of UCSB products and services.
• Provide technical support to customers and troubleshoot inquiries on digital products, such as online banking, mobile app, bill pay, transfer now, RDC and Zelle.

The ideal candidate will possess a BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university as well as at least five years of experience working in the operations area of a financial institution with at least three years in a managerial role. The candidate should also possess a strong working knowledge of consumer banking regulations for deposit products and processing, the highest levels of integrity, a strong commitment to serving others, and superior computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
