Union County Savings Bank is Hiring a Personal Banker Near Union, NJ

Description

The role will be primarily located at UCSB’s branch in Union, New Jersey, however travel to the other Union County branches will be required as needed.

Who we are:

Union County Savings Bank is a community bank with four branches in Union County. The Bank was founded in 1883 to serve the local communities of Union County and remains strongly committed to these communities today. Currently the team at UCSB is implementing new technologies to make banking with us easier. The Bank is also rolling out new products and services designed to meet the expanding needs of our customers while preserving our 138-year pledge of security, safety and service.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Personal Banker for our Union location who will deliver unparalleled service to our customers and the communities we serve. The Banker will also serve as the face of the bank and will strengthen customer relationships by engaging customers in needs-based relationship building conversations; act in an ethical manner and recommend appropriate financial solutions that will support the customer’s short and long-term financial goals; actively support UCSB’s community related initiatives so we may continue to build awareness of the bank’s brand in all segments of the communities we serve; manage risk through adherence to UCSB’s policies and procedures, state laws and regulations; participate in branch daily/monthly operations and branch audits, ensuring completion in an efficient and accurate manner; and ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with internal policies and procedures including BSA requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess A High School diploma or GED. An Associate Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university is preferred. At least two years of customer service experience in financial services, retail sales or a similar environment is also required. Additional requirements include the proven ability to build customer relationships, determine needs, and cross-sell appropriate products and services; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; superior communication skills and interpersonal skills; superior organizational skills and attention to detail; professional presence; highest level of integrity; ability to work a 40-hour branch schedule including Monday through Saturday and one late night; and the ability to provide coverage for locations other than the primary Branch of assignment on an as-needed basis.
