Our law firm is looking for the next associate attorney to assist in providing legal counsel to our clients. You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. If you’ve recently graduated law school, have excellent fact-finding and communication skills, and are ready to jump-start your career in the legal industry, we want to hear from you! Compensation:

$75,000 - $150,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Exceeding billable hour requirements.
  • Performing Client Needs Assessments.
  • Developing case strategic case plans for the client’s matter relative to the client’s budget.
  • Communicating with clients.
  • Preparing for and attending court hearings and trials.
  • Drafting all manner of pleadings.
  • Communicating with opposing counsel and court professionals.
  • Drafting correspondence.
  • Working closely with support staff to ensure effectiveness and client satisfaction.
  • Conducting legal research, preparing for and attending hearings and other legal proceedings, and providing legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys.
  • Keeping files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
  • Preparing correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
  • Collaborating with clients, senior associates, and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently.
  • Analyzing conflicts in legal matters, advising clients on solutions, and negotiating on behalf of clients.
Qualifications:
  • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
  • Candidates must have passed the bar exam
  • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
  • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
  • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
