BizTalk Middleware Administrator - (Contract) Onsite

SYSTEMTEC is assisting our client in filling a BizTalk Middleware Administrator for a Contract position in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate in this role will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of our BizTalk middleware infrastructure. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of our integration processes and providing technical support when necessary. The BizTalk Middleware Administrator will also play a crucial role in implementing best practices and optimizing the performance of our BizTalk environment.

Required Qualifications of the BizTalk Middleware Administrator :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BizTalk Middleware Administrator or a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of BizTalk Server, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of integration concepts, such as messaging protocols, data formats, and EAI patterns.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and task scheduling.
• Experience with SQL Server and database administration, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, are a plus.

Responsibilities of the BizTalk Middleware Administrator:

• Install, configure, and maintain BizTalk middleware servers and related components.
• Monitor the health and performance of BizTalk servers, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes or enhancements.
• Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, and deploy BizTalk solutions for integrating diverse systems and applications.
• Configure and manage BizTalk adapters, pipelines, orchestrations, and other artifacts to facilitate seamless data exchange.
• Implement security measures and access controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of BizTalk resources.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including installation guides, configuration procedures, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams in resolving BizTalk-related issues.
• Perform regular backups, disaster recovery testing, and system upgrades to maintain the reliability and availability of BizTalk services.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in BizTalk and middleware administration, and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
