VP, Hyperion, Synchrony Bank, Stamford, CT. Customize and administer planning and budgeting systems. Develop and administer EPBCS/Hyperion budget and planning tools for Finance organization. Implement BSO/ASO (Block Storage and Aggregate Storage) cubes in EPBCS environment. Support rolling budget/forecast models. Analyze requirements, write functional specifications and design documents, conduct tests, troubleshoot issues, and interface with business users. Develop Hyperion Planning environments, including outlines, load rules, calculation scripts, partitions, web forms and security, complex reports (Smartview), systems testing, and training of end user and client support teams. Collaborate with cross functional teams to analyze requirements, propose, and execute solutions. Participate in requirements gathering with functional partners and technology teams. Advise users on best practices in planning, budgeting, and forecasting.40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of related work experience. In the alternative, the employer will accept seven (7) years of related work experience.Must have five (5) years of experience with/in:· Hyperion, Essbase, Planning and/or EPBCS, and at least one (1) full cycle EPCS implementation;· Financial planning and budgeting, consolidation, and reconciliation; and· Business process redesign or transformation.Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:· Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:· Using Oracle’s reporting tools such as Smartview, Hyperion Financial Reports (HFR) OBIEE, BI Cloud, and/or Oracle Analytic Cloud;· End-to-end implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, design, build, test, and go-live stages;· Automating Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) operations using EPM Automate and Data Management using Financial Data Quality Management, Enterprise Edition (FDMEE) module; and· Creating detailed technical design (TDD) from function designs and requirement documents in EPM domain.Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.100% Telecommuting permitted.To apply, email resume to HR Manager referencing job code CT0046 in subject line to: kristine.mackey@syf.com
