RHC Construction is Hiring a Construction Project Manager Near Oakland, CA

Rod Heisler Construction is a leader in commercial and custom residential construction in the San Francisco Bay Area. We’ve built an open culture where everyone’s contributions are respected and appreciated while keeping a tight knit feel even when times are busy. RHC has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

RHC Project Manager will be responsible for the execution and timely delivery of the ongoing operation of existing projects and pricing new opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to Project Proposals
  • Organizing pre-construction feedback into contracts
  • Setting up billings
  • Prompt processing of paperwork and cost information
  • Maintaining lead time information on projects
  • Executing agreements and change agreements with customers and vendors
  • Collaborating on RFI responses
  • Managing take-offs
  • Writing scope letters
  • Managing communications with teams, clients and office staff
  • Drafting subcontracts
  • Overseeing punch list completion
  • Cost reporting

In order to be successful in this role you’ll need the following skills & experience:

  • Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural degree, or equivalent preferred
  • Intermediate understanding of how to read plans and specifications
  • Field experience a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills and organizational skills
  • 1 - 2 years experience in construction or engineering a plus
  • Self-directed with excellent interpersonal skills and calm under pressure
  • Organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability work with a team on solutions
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and MS Project
  • Experience with Procore a plus
