Rapidly growing property management company seeking individual to fill an available Bookkeeping position. Prior experience is required. Bilingual a plus but not required.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports, you'll be working directly with the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in balance sheet reconciliation, public accounting, date entry.
Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Review bills and invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Process accounts payable / receivable and ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation
- Assist the Director of Operations to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Assist with year-end audits
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, public accounting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
