Responsibilities
Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) is a 130-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Washington, DC near Tenley Town. We offer the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and substance abuse population in both inpatient and outpatient programs. Qualifications:
  • Current license to practice nursing in District of Columbia (or eligible to receive or renew)
  • Minimum requirements are one (1) year of psychiatric nursing experience, or two (2) years of medical/surgical experience with proven leadership, strong clinical skills, and high motivation.
  • Previous psychiatric, behavioral, or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • ANA Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing certification preferred.
