We are seeking a highly motivated attorney to join our firm.
Position Overview:
- You will be a part of a fast-paced team environment and will have all the necessary tools and support to allow you to focus on the proper workup of your cases in preparation for settlement or trial.
- Overall organization and attention to detail are paramount to this position, along with the willingness and ability to regularly interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and/or in-person.
- 1-3 years personal injury litigation experience.
- In this role you will have the opportunity to perform the following responsibilities:
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
- Develop and deliver arguments and represent clients in personal injury matters.
- Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Downtown Hartford office.
- Licensed and in good standing with the Connecticut State Bar.
- One to three years experience in personal injury litigation.
- Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate both verbally and in writing.
