Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator/Painter to join our team. As a fabricator/Painter, you will be responsible for building and repairing equipment preparing surfaces and applying paint to various structures. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.

Responsibilities:

-assist in shop repairs

-Build/ fabricate repair and paint

- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks

- Apply primer or sealers to prepare surfaces for painting

- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results

- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns

- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate paint application

- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools

- Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear when necessary

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Painter or in a similar role

- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials

- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in painting

- Ability to operate a forklift for materials handling

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities

- Experience with airless paint spraying is a plus

- Ability to fabricate or repair auto body parts is a plus

Pay: $20.48 - $30.00 per hour
