Hire Counsel is seeking paralegals with experience in complex litigation and trials for a long-term contract position with a state government agency. You will be assisting with preparation for both a preliminary injunction hearing and a trial that is scheduled to begin at the end of September.

Duties:

• Organizing case files and maintaining databases
• Conducting legal research
• Assisting attorneys with trial preparation by organizing exhibits and preparing witnesses
• Drafting trial briefs, pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Providing support during preliminary injunction hearing and the trial

Project Details:

• Start Date: Upon successful completion of the interview process
• Duration: 6 months
• Location: Denver, CO
• Pay Rate: $40/hr

Qualifications:

• Required: Experience with complex litigation and trials
• Required: Experience drafting various legal documents, including trial briefs, pleadings and motions
• Ability to attend the preliminary injunction hearing and the trial in Denver
