Hennis Care Centre of Dover is Hiring a Maintenance/Groundskeeper Near Dover, OH
We are looking for a skilled individual that will primarily take care of the facility grounds outside, such as lawncare, planting flowers, leaf and snow removal, etc. The ideal candidate will also possess skills with drywall patching, painting, light electrical, and light plumbing, etc. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. You must have manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Shift
- 8 hour shifts, M-F
- On-Call Weekend Rotations
Responsibilities
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken door locks, filling holes/gaps on walls etc.
- Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
- Must be able to take direction and follow instructions
Skills
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
