Hennis Care Centre, a respected nursing home in Dover, Ohio, is seeking a Director of Nursing to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents while providing strong leadership and mentorship for our dedicated nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of resident care, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead and mentor a team of nurses, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident.
• Oversee nursing staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Oversee the nursing department budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in long-term care nursing.
• Champion initiatives that promote resident dignity, well-being, and quality of life.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) with extensive experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a long-term care setting.
• Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of geriatric care.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Proficient in computer skills and healthcare software applications.

Pay: $88,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
