We currently have a position available as a full-time Accounting Specialist at our corporate office located at 6951 Hannegan Rd, Lynden, WA. This position is a growing role managing payroll with the capacity of extending into other aspects of accounting responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who is looking to expand their skill set and build their perfect job!

Salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour depending on transferrable skills and experience.

General Responsibilities:

· Processes for weekly regular and Certified payroll for 150 employees.

· Process accurate and timely Quarterly and year-end reporting (940,941, L & I, SUI, W-2, W-2c, ACA, etc.)

· Performs other duties and special projects, including audits, verifications, and additional general accounting duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of high school graduate, some college preferred; a combination of experience and education may be considered.

· Knowledgeable of accounting processes required, with some experience working with payroll, journal entries, and quarterly tax filings preferred.

· Demonstrated time-management and organization skills to manage priorities and meet strict deadlines, while working in a team environment.

· Strong ability to interface with all levels of the organization while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

· Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and an astute attention to detail required!
