Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to help oversee our housekeeping operations. As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Duties:

- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations

- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness

- Ensure that all areas of the facility are properly cleaned and maintained, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction

- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards

- Address any guest concerns or complaints regarding housekeeping services

- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any repairs or maintenance issues

Requirements:

- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry

- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, commercial cleaning techniques, and laundry operations

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

- Proficient in using housekeeping management software or systems

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
