We are looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager to join our team. Our office takes pride in providing the highest quality comprehensive oral health care in a friendly and relaxed environment. Our patients expect a higher standard of service and we are looking for the right candidate to join a great team of like-minded professionals that share the common goal of providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the dental office. Manage employees schedules and ensure staff is on time and prepared for work
- Promote a positive work environment in line with policies and culture of the office
- Maintain a full schedule of patients daily
- Handle billing and financial management tasks, including accounts receivable and outstanding insurance claims
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Supervise and train office staff, including Front Desk Coordinators and Dental Assistants
- Implement and maintain efficient office procedures and workflows
- Serve as a liaison between patients, dental providers, and insurance companies
Requirements:
- Proven experience in office management, preferably in a medical or dental setting.
- Knowledge of dental office management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental.
- Familiarity with financial management principles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Leadership skills to effectively supervise a team of office staff.
