Position Summary

Paragon ID is currently seeking a Production Team Member , primarily responsible for assisting in the operation of one or more pieces of equipment per standard operations procedures (SOPs) to produce quality product in a timely and efficient manner . The Production Team Member will ensure product quality levels and report any deviations from process standards .

Production Team Member Job Responsibilities

* Complete tasks at an assigned station ; assist with the operation of one or more pieces of production equipment

* Understand and follow all safety instructions and practices

* Assist Machine Operators with loading/unloading production equipment per standard operating procedures (SOP)

* Assist with monitoring quality of products and take corrective actions as instructed

* Work collaboratively and communicate with coworkers on team, across shift changes, and in other departments for successful completion of assigned work

* Prepare machine(s) for production startup at beginning of shift and safely/correctly shut down machine on a daily basis, as instructed and supervised

* Track production supplies at assigned station and ensure proper levels maintained

* Track production output and quality level periodically throughout and at end of shift

* Keep work centers and factory clean and neat to ensure a safe working environment

* Support process improvement efforts by participating on process improvement teams and initiatives that directly impact work processes, environment, and quality of product

* Contribute ideas toward improving processes (output and quality, 6S) and/or lowering costs

Production Team Member Qualifications and Skill

* High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school education a plus

* Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred; w ill train otherwise qualified candidates

* Experience in a high-velocity production line a plus

* M echanical aptitude strongly preferred

* C omplete, be granted, and maintain US Department of State MRPT clearance; a preliminary and interim security background check must be passed before employment begins, and the full MRPT application completed upon starting employment

* Strong attention to detail, task-oriented, and safety conscious

* Understand written and spoken safety, quality, and machine process instructions

* Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, managers, and others

* Ability to comfortably operate in a Windows environment ; willingness to learn Microsoft Excel a p lus

* Self-motivated team player who possesses a positive and engaging attitude

* Ability to work flexible hours occasionally
