This is a hybrid position - minimum 2 days onsite weekly following training period that is 100% onsite

Hours Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative , primarily responsible for the day-to-day customer service, inside sales and sales support activities for the retail division.

The Customer Service Representative will manage the sales order process and general sales support while ensuring excellent communication with customers, brokers, sales managers and shipping / delivery contacts.

The Customer Service Representative will play an important and integral part in the sales and customer service efforts of the company, requiring teamwork, attention to detail and a desire to succeed.

Responsibilities :

  • Set up and maintain customer accounts in all applicable applications required by each retailer and Decas operating system
  • Respond to customer and broker requests in a timely manner
  • Complete order entry process from PO receipt to shipment, efficiently and accurately ; update customer contracts and profiles
  • Assure that all necessary documentation is generated and forwarded to the appropriate party for each shipment
  • Complete customer complaints and forward to appropriate personnel ; work with logistics on transportation for pickup and delivery of any rejected products, and provide appropriate paperwork to Accounting Department to issue credit to customer
  • Manage account status , credit status and deduction / chargeback management , working closely with Finance
  • Attend r etail cross function team meetings and weekly production meetings
  • Monitor and track emails from order inbox
  • Participate in the improvement of customer service communication tools and carry out their implementatio n
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by CSM and Retail Management team for all B2C (Retail) related activities

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • M inimum of 5 years experience in customer service or inside sales role
  • Must have strong telephone, verbal communication, and listening skills
  • P roficiency with Microsoft Office Suite ; experience with Sage 500, Salesforce, or Doclink a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently a nd as a team-player
  • Must be able to prioritize and follow-through with assignments
  • High attention to detail, a bility to work well under pressure while multitasking
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to forge good working relationships with customers, vendors, and fellow employees and departments
  • Ability to resolve a problem through compromise or solution that satisfies to some extent, all parties involved
  • Demonstrated autonomy, resourcefulness, honesty, and discretion
