Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director to join our team. As the Director, you will be responsible for donor solicitation, overseeing and managing various aspects of our organization, including digital marketing, grant writing, public relations, social media management, events management, volunteer management, proposal writing, market research, event planning, and strategic planning. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
- Oversee and manage all aspects of digital marketing campaigns
- Write and submit grant proposals to secure funding for projects
- Manage public relations efforts to enhance the organization's reputation
- Create and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness
- Plan and coordinate events to engage stakeholders and promote the organization's mission
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support organizational initiatives
- Prepare and submit proposals for new projects or initiatives
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in digital marketing, grant writing, public relations, social media management, events management, volunteer management, proposal writing, market research, event planning, or strategic planning
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills especially with prospective donors
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
-Proficiency in Blackbaud Raisers' Edge software preferred
-CFRE certification preferred
-Previous experience in advancement preferred
