JOB SUMMARY:
Receive and answer incoming calls from clients in the community seeking crisis assistance. Utilize crisis assessment and intervention skills. Make outbound calls, emails, text or chat to effectively coordinate care and resolve crisis situations through identification of community resources. Effectively screen incoming requests using the risk assessment tools provided; and seek clinical consultation for triage services and health education, when necessary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

2. Demonstrate effective multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
3. Demonstrate experience in clinical assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning and treatment using a variety of methods.
4. Ability to exercise excellent independent critical judgement with minimal direct supervision.
5. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and familiarity with computer use.
6. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of substance abuse, mental health, and recovery issues.
7. Demonstrate knowledge of issues pertinent to survivors of violence and abuse.
8. Demonstrate an eagerness for professional and personal growth opportunities.
9. High attention to detail and understanding of operation protocol development.
10. Responsible for completing competency-based workplace safety trainings as assigned by the agency.
11. Other duties as assigned.
