Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining financial stability and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable processes.
Duties:
- Process incoming payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers
- Verify accuracy of payment details and reconcile any discrepancies
- Prepare and send invoices to customers
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up as necessary
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and update customer account information as needed
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including generating reports and reconciling accounts
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
Skills:
- Familiarity in accounting software and systems (e.g., SAP Concur or NetSuite)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in 10-key typing for accurate data entry
- Knowledge of telemarketing techniques for effective follow-up on outstanding invoices
We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. This is a full-time position with regular business hours.
