Award Construction Inc. is Hiring an Equipment Operators / Pipe Layers - Public Works Near Tacoma, WA

Award Construction is seeking to build their crew with experienced, safety minded, motivated and team oriented Heavy Equipment Operators and Pipe Layers. We are currently hiring for a project in Fife with a 10-month duration, and there is growth potential for the right candidates.

Qualifications

Demolition, earthwork, and underground utilities experience preferred.
Familiarity with CAT controls and setting grades
Award's operators are expected to also perform general labor tasks as needed
Demonstrated proficiency in maintenance and safe/productive operation of variety of heavy equipment.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Have a safety minded work ethic.

Compensation, Benefits and Work Environment

Base compensation is determined by prevailing wages, for the project we are currently hiring for this ranges from $57.01 for laborer scale to $79.01 for an excavator operator.
Benefits include health insurance, 401k, training opportunities, and paid time off.
Drug testing required, including for cannabis, in accordance with federal contracting requirements
