We are looking for the right fit to fill an immediate opening for a Commercial Estimator for commercial construction. The candidate will be responsible for project estimating, detailed takeoffs, vendor buyouts, and communicating with the Sales Manager, Sales Team, Project Managers, and Superintendents.

Pay Scale: $65,000 - $75,000 (base commission)

Job Duties:

• Answering inquiries, responding to special requests, and communicating order changes
• Responding to customer needs by identifying needs, generating quotes, and closing orders
• Submittal preparation
• Vendor negotiation and buyout
• Follow-up on open proposals and orders
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain tight project bidding deadlines
• Must be detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Proficient with MS Office
• Reading mechanical plans and creating as-built drawings
• Successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or currently enrolled
• CAD experience
