As Nevada’s largest and most active organization devoted to the protection and advancement of civil rights and civil liberties, the ACLU of Nevada is one of the state’s most effective public interest nonprofits. The organization works on a broad range of issues, including but not limited to free speech, election protection, education reform, drug law reform, women’s issues, prisoners’ rights, immigrant’s rights, the rights of the unsheltered, criminal justice reform, and LGBTQIA rights. DEFINITION
The American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada (ACLU of Nevada) seeks applicants for an attorney position. As a member of the ACLU of Nevada’s legal team, Staff Attorneys engage in strategic impact litigation while collaborating with other departments to promote civil liberties and rights in the state of Nevada. This is a full time, in office position.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary is based on experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is from $70,000.00 - $87,500. Please note that attorneys with three years or less of litigation experience will be at the starting point of this scale. Benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, generous time off, and a flexible remote-work policy. Bar dues, liability insurance, and CLE expenses are provided by the ACLU of Nevada.
