Swift Staffing is Hiring a Part Time Dental Assistant (Rosedale) Near Towson, MD
Part Time Dental Assistant needed for our government client in Rosedale. The Part Time Dental Assistant will participate in scheduling, cleaning and recording treatment information. Six month contract position with possible extension. The non-negotiable pay rate is $21.00 per hour.
Essential Duties:
- Assist Dental staff with scheduling patient appointments.
- Assist Dentist with cleaning calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums.
- Identifies conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontists.
- Applies fluorides and other cavity preventing agents to dental decay.
- Charts conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist.
- Presents Treatment Plan with guidance from the Dentist to patients and provide health education to improve and maintain oral health.
- Records treatment information in patient records.
- Must have at least six months of Dental Hygienist or Assistant experience.
- Must have current Registered State Dental Hygienist License with HIPAA knowledge.
- Must be able to work from 8:30 am-4:30 pm Wednesdays only with a 1 hour non paid lunch.
- Must be able to able to pass a background check and drug test.
