Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors and implements physician-ordered treatments
- Completes persons served assessments on biweekly basis
- Educates persons served and direct support staff on medications and health care strategies and procedures
- Attends medically needed doctor's appointments with persons served
- Manages, coordinates and communicates with pharmacies, managers, and staff so that all prescription medications are properly matched and accounted for in the electronic system
- Participates in team meetings as requested, as well as staff meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse licensed to practice in MI
- Valid driver’s license
- Current auto insurance
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Must be willing to travel to all of our locations throughout Macomb and Oakland Counties
- Must want to make a difference
- Desire to have fun at work
