Paper Operations Night Lead

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide strong leadership and direction to night team members
• Obtain knowledge of department tasks to improve efficiency and performance of processes and subordinates, in addition to supervising them.
• Cover department tasks when staffing is low to ensure deadlines are met.
• Implement training modules and training schedules.
• Keep all project work instructions up to date and accurate.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment is actively being checked and performed.
• Communicate with service technicians and schedule maintenance for envelope openers, scanners and scan software.
• Collaborate with IT when necessary for suggestions of improvements to software.
• Work closely with other captains to ensure all project needs are met.
• Assist team members with processing questions.
• Communicate and meet regularly with the Paper Operations Manager to ensure all team and processing needs are met.
• Hold regular check-ins with night team

• Demonstrated success managing team members and multiple projects
• Exceptional communication, time management and organizational skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Google Suite and PDF
• Flexible, highly adaptive to change, while also having the ability to take initiative
• Ability to create an environment that motivates, inspires, and respects others
• Ability to build team cohesiveness to achieve results

Job Type:

• Full-time, Night shift 5pm-2am
