WIHD is looking to hire a full-time Bilingual NYS licensed Clinical Supervisors (LCSW or licensed in a related field)to join its expanding interdisciplinary team. Position is hybrid with a minimum of 2 days on site.
Summary of Position: The Clinical Supervisor will assist in overseeing the delivery of in-home, trauma-informed clinical services, parent training and support for families being reunified following foster care placement and preventive services to families at risk of foster care placement. The position will involve working closely with program clinicians, case managers, and socio-therapists, with a focus on the safety and well-being for children. Supervisor will also carry a small caseload of cases.
Child Welfare Services at WIHD provides an array of services, supports and advocacy for children and families involved with the child welfare system in Westchester County. These services include clinical assessments of children and their birth parents, pediatric medical care, educational coordination and advocacy, and community-based parent training services for parents with intellectual disabilities and services for families reunifying from foster care or at risk for foster care placement.

Essential Functions of the Clinical Supervisor:
Education Level: Master’s Degree and License in Clinical Social Work, or related field; Willingness and ability to actively engage in ongoing training and education on topics including trauma-informed care, health equity, person-centered care, etc.
Knowledge of: Child welfare system, child abuse, child development, foster care/preventive systems. Ideally we would like this person to have knowledge of evidence-based interventions, trauma-informed approaches;
Kind and Length of Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with children and families impacted by trauma and 3 years of supervisory experience
Experience with: Home-based services; Preferred experience with trauma-informed evidence based models, including TFCBT, AFCBT, and CFTSI;
Travel Requirements: Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel throughout Westchester County; some evening hours may be required;
Language Requirements: Bi-lingual Spanish applicants only.
