FABCO is a full-service steel fabricator, looking for an Estimator to join our fast-growing team in Woodburn, Oregon. Our state-of-the-art facility, combined with our highly skilled team and technological capabilities, allows us to perform a wide range of projects, from small to large.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction plans, preparing estimates, and ensuring projects are completed within budget.
Duties:
- Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine project costs
- Prepare accurate and timely commercial steel cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Develop project budgets and cost control strategies
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate estimates
- Review and analyze contracts to understand project requirements
