An exciting position is currently available for a Machine Shop Programmer in our Manufacturing Department. This position will provide efficient and accurate programs for all CNC equipment and set up and operate both conventional and CNC machining equipment to produce components efficiently and accurately.

• Process work orders including, developing manufacturing methods, ordering materials, and programming.
• Provide instruction and technical assistance as necessary.
• Set up equipment to produce components, which may include, tooling selection, measuring, and loading tooling offsets, part fixturing, and program editing.
• Operate both conventional and CNC machining equipment to produce components efficiently and accurately.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve efficiency while working cooperatively with other team members.
• Verify conformance of finished component to specifications.
• Maintain shop schedule along with Machining Manager.
• Ensure all safety policies are followed at all times.
• All other duties as required.

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5 years CNC programming experience with Master Cam, Gibbs Cam or similar programming tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of machinery, tools, materials, methods and standard practices of the machining trade
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks and assignments without direct supervision, and on occasion, may direct and lead the work of others.
• Understand the hazards and safety precautions of the machinist trade.

• Work is performed in a Manufacturing environment, regularly exposed and working with mechanical moving parts.
• Regularly required to reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
