We are looking for an industrial flooring installer to join our team! As one of New England's leading commercial painting and flooring contractors, we have established a working environment that is enthusiastic in which people are proud to work. Our flooring installers are certified in all phases of concrete prep and concrete flooring repairs, utilizing the latest equipment and installation techniques. We have successfully installed over 10million square feet of industrial floor coatings, resurfaces, and polished concrete floors. Compensation:
Full-time, hourly position, non-exempt
$25-$30 per hour, dependent on experience
This position is benefits eligible
Primary Job Responsibilities
Operate power tools such as 7" and 5" hand grinders, walk behind grinders, generators and shot-blasters
Loading and unloading items to and from job sites (I.e. buckets, brooms, power tools, etc.)
Concrete patch work (spalling, divots, crack chasing and filling)
Installation of epoxy cove base
Mixing 2, 3, and 4 part epoxies and urethane mortars with attention to detail
Squeegee applications
3", 9" and 18" roller applications evenly distributing various coatings with attention to detail regarding uniformity and thickness
Keep work area clean and operate under safe conditions with ALL necessary safety equipment
Sweeping and vacuuming
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in commercial flooring (preferred)
Possess an OSHA10 card or be willing to obtain one
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
HS Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Punctual and consistent work attendance
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to communicate professionally; follow instructions and at times provide instruction
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment; stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds
Must be able to work varied schedules
