JOB SUMMARY:

The Financeand Strategy Director will be responsible for managing our strategic finance initiatives across transit, home care, and administrative operations, strategic financial analysis, and agency strategy. This position will ensure that all financial processes, records, and reports of the agency conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for a non-profit organization. The role will involve cross-functional collaboration, and the development of robust financial analyses to help guide decision-making across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Partner cross-functionally to encourage and instill ROI-driven decision-making across the organization.

· Develop SMART Goals (KPIs) with key stakeholders across the organization to help identify company strengths and opportunities and how to leverage them.

· Lead the company’s short and long-term operational and financial forecasting, including the development of Envida’s annual budget and ongoing forecasting. Ensure alignment of annual operating budget with annual operations plans and long-term strategic plan.

· Prepare monthly financial reports, including cash flow and projected revenue and expenses.

· Analyze the financial status of the organization and regularly report findings to the CEO and the Board of Directors. Provide support for significant variances in financial and sales reports enabling improved decisions that have a financial and operating impact on the organization.

· Support the annual audit and Form 990 tax filing. Prepare all related files and reports to ensure a complete and thorough audit.

· Assist and cooperate with external agencies in their examination of the organization’s records.

· Manage and reconcile balance sheet and subledgers for accuracy.

· Responsible for financial fund accounting and oversight of payroll to ensure accuracy, support internal controls, and meet funders’ financial requirements.

· Prepare and annually update financial policies and processes to maintain accuracy and change as business needs dictate.

· Develop financial models and forecasting to support strategic initiatives which offer “what-if” analyses and/or solutions to the leadership team.

· Gather, analyze, and interpret external and internal data and present to leadership.

· Ensure the timely submittal of all grant applications and interim reports. Prepare grant program budgets.

· Manage record-keeping for the grants and track budget vs actual grant spending.

· Provide accurate and timely financial information, including updated projections and changes, for use in grant reporting.

· Manage and/or prepare grant invoicing and provide oversight of State reimbursement systems.

· Develops reporting standards to ensure maximum invoicing on all grant and funding opportunities.

· Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to support healthy cash flow.

· Support in capital raising activities leading all due diligence efforts. Evaluate and size various markets to inform business expansion opportunities.

WORKING CONDITIONS

General office setting, standing, sitting, computers, typing, and occasionally traveling by automobile.
