Front of House Manager
The candidate must have 4 years experience in this position and be able to manage 10 employees on this position.the candidate must to know to make a schedule and be able to keep inventory and place food orders for the restaurant.SALARY is negotionable plus BONUSEs
Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including the dining room, bar, and host/host station
- Train and supervise front of house staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and maximize customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as menus, condiments, and beverages, and place orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and restrooms
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for both customers and staff
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and specialty coffee drinks
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality management
- Proficiency in bartending skills, including mixing cocktails and serving alcoholic beverages
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in team management, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Familiarity with kitchen operations to facilitate effective communication with kitchen staff
- Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions based on qualifications and fit for the position
- Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus
