Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MOHs Histology Technician to join our team. As a MOHs Histology Technician, you will play a crucial role in thehistology procedures of MOHs. Your expertise in anatomy, laboratory techniques, and specimen collection processing will contribute to accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform histological procedures including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microtomes, tissue processors, and staining instruments
- Prepare slides for microscopic examination by pathologists
- Ensure proper labeling and documentation of specimens
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed
- Adhere to strict quality control measures and follow standard operating procedures
- Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
Skills:
- Proficient in laboratory procedures related to histology
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment
