Job description
Washington County Sheriff's Office is looking to hire a corrections officer. This is an entry-level position and is under general supervision. An employee in this position performs correctional work at a county detention facility, involving custody, escorting, rehabilitation of inmates and other related work as required. This employee may be assigned to work any shift.

Current Entry Level Rate of Pay: $20.31 per hour. Must be at least 19 years of age.
Work Hours: 12 hour shifts, 14 days in a 28 day cycle ending with seven days off in a row
