Position Summary:
The Manager of Special Projects will be responsible for various projects within the organization. In this role, they will be responsible for spearheading special projects, with a primary focus on the design, development, and implementation of Mobile Applications and other operating software. The Manager of Special Projects will collaborate closely with various departments and cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept to completion, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver exceptional value to our guests.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of special projects, with a particular focus on mobile app development.
3. Assist with defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the business goals and user needs.
4. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
5. Coordinate cross-functional teams across all departments, including developers, designers, vendors, QA Testers, and project managers, to execute project tasks and achieve milestones.
6. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project
risks and issues.
7. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, milestones achieved, and any deviations from the project plan.
8. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and
continuous improvement.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Mobile App development and incorporate best practices into project methodologies.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
preferred.
3. Two (2) years of experience with Information Systems and or app development.
4. Strong foundation in leadership. Minimum five (5) years' experience managing or supervising other individuals.
5. Project Management experience preferred.
6. Experience with leading and mentoring technical teams. A proven track record of building and
fostering the continual growth of highly successful technical teams.
7. Experience with relevant PC software applications such as Microsoft O/S and MS-Office, Visio, and project management tools.
8. Ability to work well in a highly team driven environment.
9. Ability to perform well under pressure.

Physical Requirements:
1. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an office environment; however, work is may be performed in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a sitting or non‐sitting position. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
